Ricky Gray has been serving in ministry in the Atlanta area since 1994. He has been at West Metro Church of Christ for 21 years. He has also worked in churches in Mississippi and Florida. Ricky met his wife, Stacy, at Freed-Hardeman University, where he graduated in 1991—she completed her degree a year earlier. Ricky also received a Masters of Divinity from Harding School of Theology in Memphis in May of 2018. He and Stacy were married in March of 1992, and since have been involved with raising three boys (23, 20, and 18). His favorite thing to do is spend time with his wife and children. The boys are deeply involved in sports, so opportunities abound to attend practices, games, and other related functions. He and Stacy love to work in the yard together, go out to dinner or a movie, or simply enjoy a quiet evening together side-by-side on the couch. Certified in 2000 as Dynamic Marriage facilitators, Ricky and Stacy have had the opportunity to lead several 8-week Dynamic Marriage courses. They also have developed a desire for mentoring younger married couples.
When not at ball games or otherwise enjoying family time, he enjoys exercising, reading, birding, watching SEC football, and playing board games.
